Enhanced Online Banking Letter

Your enhanced Spring Bank experience is coming soon!

We are committed to giving you the best in banking services and technology. To keep fulfilling this commitment we will soon be upgrading our systems to make sure you have access to the latest and greatest banking features. We think you will like the new features and the new look and feel of our statements and online banking experience.

We have scheduled a systemwide upgrade for March 4, 2022. On that date, after business hours we will begin our upgrade to the new system. Our goal is to make this as seamless as possible for all our customers. There are, however, some steps that you will need to take, depending on the features and services that you currently use. Understanding the changes will help ensure the transition to our new system causes you as little disruption as possible.

If you use online banking:

We are getting a new and improved online banking platform. The new platform will be available for use on Monday, March 7th, at 8:00 am. At that time, when you log onto the new online platform your User ID will remain the same but you will need to input a new password using the following steps:

When you first log on to the new online banking system via our website, you will be asked to input your current User ID, from there you will be prompted to receive a phone call or text message with an activation code. The phone call or text message will go to your mobile phone on record. Once the code has been entered you will be prompted to enter your temporary password and create a permanent password. Your temporary password will be your zip code and the last 4 digits of your social security number. For example, if your zip code is 10452 and your social security number ends in 1234, then your temporary password will be “104521234”. Once you have chosen a new password you will be free to use all of the features of the new online banking platform.

The cutoff time for all Spring Bank online banking transactions during the conversion period will be Friday, March 4th, at 5:00 pm. Please be sure to conduct all important transactions prior to this time. After this cutoff time, the existing system will be available for inquiry only until Monday, March 7th, at 8:00 am, when the new platform is brought live.

Please make sure to access the new Spring Bank online banking from our website, www.spring.bank, to ensure that you are directed to the new site as the use of “favorites” or “bookmarks” within your browser may direct you to our old electronic banking site which will be disabled after March 7th.

If you use our consumer mobile app:

Our new Mobile Banking Application will be available for download on Monday, March 7, 2022. You will need to delete your existing App and download the new application from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching for: Spring Bank NY. The new App will not be available until Monday, March 7th, so please remember not to download it before then.

You will need to reset your password with online banking via our website www.spring.bank as per the steps above prior to accessing the new mobile application. The old application will be placed into inquiry mode and will not allow any transactions after 5:00 pm, March 4, 2022. You will still be able to view the activity in your accounts on the old app until 8:00 am, March 7, 2022.

If you use our bill pay module for automatic payments:

The new bill payment system will become available to all online banking and cash management users on Monday, March 7th, at 8:00 am. Starting on March 7th, you will be able to reach bill pay customer support at 800-298-7128.

Our bill payment platform is currently unavailable until the new system is turned on Monday morning.

Your list of bill payees, vendors, and recurring payments will not be converting to the new system. Beginning on Monday, March 7th, you will need to reinput this information into the new system. If you need any assistance with this process, please reach out to us and we will gladly help you with these steps.

If you use Cash Management for your business account:

The new Cash Management platform which will now be called Business eBanking becomes available Monday, March 7th, at 8:00 am, and our current Cash Management users will have exclusive access to a preview period until Thursday, March 3, 2022. This will help you get a feel of how our new platform will look once upgrades are completed.

Your relationship manager sent an email with additional communication containing the preview link and necessary credentials for accessing the new system.

The cutoff time for all Online Banking transactions prior to the upgrade period will be Friday, March 4th, at 5:00 pm. Please make sure to conduct all important transactions prior to this time. After this cutoff time, the system will be available for inquiry only until Monday, March 7th, at 8:00 am.

If you use telephone banking:

Transfers will not be able to be made through telephone banking from Friday, March 4th, at 5:00 pm, through Monday, March 7th, at 8:00 am. Telephone Banking will resume operations on Monday, March 7th, at 9:00 am. The telephone number will remain the same, 888-251-2384.

If you receive paper statements:

You will receive two statements in March. The first statement will be printed and mailed at conversion, on March 4th. The second statement will be printed and mailed at the end of the month. No service charges will be assessed on either statement, and interest will be paid on each statement.

We have worked very hard to make sure that we can offer you a best-in-class technology platform and user experience, and we are confident that you will agree that the enhancements will be worth the extra steps.

Thank you as always for being our customer !
